The work of Dino Oddi, Warren Green, John Mulraney, Dennis Dodds, Pete Marsh, Sarah, Chris Rivers, Jasmine Lancaster, Shonagh Short, Jane Orange, Rob Miller and also our guest artist, Gaynor Green will be on show in the gallery. Studio doors will be opened and visitors are welcome to come in and browse.

12 artists working in this Grade II former cotton mill invite you to come along,  to enjoy the live music on Friday evening, to see the artwork and to chat to the artists in their studios.

Work includes landscape painting, figurative painting, film, installation art, portraiture, printmaking and conceptual art.

If you cannot visit this weekend, just get in touch to make an appointment.
Visitors are welcome to just come along and browse or to discuss commissions, to buy or to chat with the artists.

(Re)allotted exhibition launch

You are cordially invited to the opening of a new exhibition at St. George’s House.

(Re)allotted is Slugsoc’s second exhibition, it combines previous work with brand new pieces all centring on the group’s fascination with allotments, bee-keeping and local food growing, and the people who inhabit these worlds.

The exhibition includes paintings, drawings, prints, textiles, photography and written pieces.

Slugsoc is a group of Bolton-based artists and writers.  (Re)allotted

 is the logical development of ‘Allotted 2016’, which they presented in August last year.

Join the artists for their opening reception on Thursday 2nd February, 5-7pm. All welcome, refreshments will be served.
