			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Starbucks, working in partnership with UK Youth and the Irish Youth Foundation, is offering the Youth Action Grants scheme as a means &#8220;to encourage and inspire a generation of young people to take action and create positive local change.&#8221;</p>
<p>The scheme offers young people (aged 16 to 24 years) who have great ideas of how to improve their communities, £2,000 in seed funding and volunteer time from local Starbucks partners (employees) to bring their projects to life.</p>
<p>Groups working with young people must be based and working in one of the following areas: Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin, Edinburgh, Greater London, Leeds, or Manchester.</p>
<p><strong>The deadline for applications is 5 March 2012 (9am).</strong></p>

An imaginative explosion of talent and energy, the TaY Festival is fourteen days and nights of brand new theatre, music, art, cooking, film, workshops, dance and great debate… made by and with 1,000 Manchester teenagers. Made for everyone.</p>

<p>With only 5 months to go, we are now looking to recruit over 200 young people aged 14 &#8211; 21 to work with us to staff, promote and create work for the Festival.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>BFI Shorts 2012 is a new short film production scheme that forms part of the British Film Institute&#8217;s commitment to supporting emerging filmmaking talent and providing opportunities for filmmakers to demonstrate their potential to create feature films.</p>
<p>The scheme will support live-action fiction projects and encourages a diverse range of films that tell compelling stories and have the ability to engage, inspire and entertain audiences.</p>
<p>Funding is available to support up to 20 live-action narrative fiction shorts which:</p>
<ul>
<li>have a duration of 10-30 minutes;</li>
<li>are able to engage, inspire and entertain audiences;</li>
<li>demonstrate that the filmmakers have the ability to dramatise stories that require a bigger canvas;</li>
<li>are achievable within the allocated time-frame and budget range specified; and</li>
<li>have no development or production finance already in place.</li>
</ul>
<p>The budget for each film will be between £25,000 and £50,000 and will be fully funded through the BFI award.</p>
<p>Applications are accepted from directors, writers and producers in the UK.</p>
<p><strong>The deadline for applications is 5pm, Friday 23 March 2012.</strong></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Youth Dance England and South East Dance are looking for fresh new dance films made by or featuring young people that are less than 10 minutes in length for screening at U.Dance 2012 at Southbank Centre in London in July 2012. If you have a dance film made in the past two years, which you would like to be considered for inclusion in the event, please submit your film to us.</p>
<p><strong>Deadline for entries is Friday 30th March 2012</strong></p>

<p>We’re looking for a genius who can weave digital into the fabric of our live brand activations. From developing concepts with our creative team through to selecting and managing our digital partner, the successful candidate will be involved in bringing key projects and accounts to life online.</p>
<p>You must be an expert in social media and have a strong grasp of all digital trends. A creative marketer who really gets brands with an inherent appetite for sports / arts / fashion / music and culture.</p>
<p>A great people person you’ll be a strong manager with the ability to get the best out of individuals, and influence key stakeholders You will need to be a strong personality with kudos and the ability to speak fluently about cross platform and cross channel marketing communications.</p>

<p>Are you creative and experienced in developing and delivering high quality participatory dance projects? Yes? Then Ludus Dance needs you!</p>
<p>The successful candidate will need to be able to inspire and connect with all sections of the community from those who are new to dance to the gifted and talented to get more people taking part in and making great dance.</p>
<p>You will be part of a small but dynamic team responsible for developing and delivering a range of high quality dance projects and initiatives primarily aimed at children &amp; young people and for people and places with the least engagement.</p>
<p>As well as generating and managing new projects the post holder will also respond to small scale project inquiries providing the client with a project outline tailored to their needs and a budget</p>
<p>Where appropriate, you will be the dance artist working on the project and will manage it from start to finish. When additional or different skills are called for you will be responsible for contracting and managing freelance artists.</p>
<p>Salary: Up to £20,446 pro rata depending on experience.</p>
<p>Hours: 22.5 hours per week, flexible</p>

<p>Manchester City’s content and digital team is widely recognised as being a front runner in the production of entertainment and information for the supporters. Innovation, creativity and passion are all vital components of the drive to increase City’s global fan base.</p>
<p>As part of the club’s commitment to excellence, constant improvement and its desire to communicate and entertain in the most appropriate and effective ways, we have developed a fresh digital strategy and are now seeking to recruit a talented and motivated individual to fill the position of Content Producer.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Delivering and creating high quality multimedia content for MCFC, creative content ideation/development, production, publication, content management, promotion and marketing across all platforms to a high-pressure, demanding schedule.</li>
<li>Assisting the Deputy HoC as a multimedia producer including social media content, video and text editorial, data visualisation and other online techniques</li>
<li>Developing thriving relationships with all other MCFC departments</li>
</ul>
<p>Proactively interacting with the MCFC online audience and community.</p>
