Its piano playtime!

Luke Jerram's Play Me, I'm Yours is coming to Burnley and Blackburn in July.  Play Me, I'm Yours has found real success in many major cities around the world including Barcelona, London, Sydney and currently in New York.  Highlights of the project can be found at www.lukejerram.com and links to all the cities websites are on www.streetpianos.com .    

The project begins on Thursday 8th July with an official launch in both town centres.  We are proud to be the first in the North West to present Play Me, I'm Yours, and we hope everyone will enjoy the pianos and have a play!

Get involved

Burnley and Blackburn's website is now live at www.bbstreetpianos.com where you can find a list of all 23 pianos locations.  All the pianos will be placed in public locations around the two towns for everyone to play for a period of 3 weeks.  Events and performances can be advertised easily on www.bbstreetpianos.com , and photos, videos and piano stories can be uploaded by anyone.  Spontaneous events are also very welcome!  Your event might involve one or more of the pianos, one or both towns, maybe every single piano at one time..!  This is project for you to get creative with and make it your own.  How about a triathlon chopsticks challenge?  Or a world piano music showcase??  Or if you are a filmmaker or photographer or poet you might like to record some of the activity at the pianos in your own way and share it on the website.
